I grew up during the early days of the internet. Trading magazines with friends at school. Finding the stashes the adults in my life tried to hide. Then came unlimited free internet pornography — and everything changed. It poisoned my entire generation.
After that came social media, and with social media the rise of the influencer. Sex sells, so flash forward to today and practically everything you encounter online is engineered to engage lust. It is relentless, it is everywhere, and for a long time I had no answer to it.
I had to quit social media altogether. And it was only then — through much prayer, through a long and humbling road — that I was finally able to break free from a lifetime of pornography addiction. Praise God, I am finally free.
Looking back, I realized that the internet and social media weren't just passive bystanders in my addiction. They were active contributors. The constant flood of suggestive imagery made real freedom nearly impossible. I had the idea to actively filter this content, but I had no way to make that vision a reality.
Then came AI. And in particular, Claude. With Claude's help I was able to turn that vision into ScrollVeil — an internet rendered as safe from suggestive content as is humanly possible. God used a lifetime of struggle to lead me to this moment.
My goal is simple: help others avoid what I went through, or find the same freedom I found. And to do it for the cost of a cheap coffee. You deserve a clean internet.
